What Do You Fear?
Fear is a powerful force which the enemy uses against you to stop you from moving forward into the place that I have created for you to function in your fullest potential and accomplish all that is written in your Book of Destiny. So, what is it that you fear: life, death, illness, failure, not being loved, rejection, marriage, divorce, poverty, losing your job, abandonment, being alone? The enemy knows your greatest point of vulnerability and zeros in on it through the circumstances in your life. Perhaps, these fears are actually generational that have come down in your family, and you have followed in the family pattern and do not realize that you do not have to accept them. As long as you choose not to confront your fears, they will dictate and control your life and the choices that you make. What are you missing out on because of them? I have not given you a spirit of fear but of love, power and a sound mind.
I call you not to fear man. When you do so, it causes limitations on your life. Are you afraid of your husband, boss or other figures in authority? Why? They do have power over your life, but it is the power that you give them. People sense fear in others and use it to control and manipulate them. In order to overcome fear, you must confront it in a way to disarm its power without great turmoil or disruption. With help from Me, you can do it.
Those of you who fear Me in a way that is respectful, it will enable you to walk in authority that I have given you. Our relationship depends on how you see Me and relate to Me. I love you, but if you fear Me in an unhealthy way, then It will be hard for you to trust Me especially in difficult situations. I give you life, and I sustain it, but I also number your days. I created you, gifted you, saved you and empower you, but you have free will to choose to obey Me or not. Fear Me in a healthy way so that our relationship will be the greatest blessing of your life, and you can be trusted by Me to do great things. And I can be trusted by you to keep My promises. Amen.
