Seek Peace and Pursue It!
Are you at peace with yourself, others and Me? I am your source of peace. Without Me, it is impossible to find. Things will not bring it. Jobs will not bring it nor will any people bring it. You are living in a world that is far from at peace and does not allow it to happen. There may be intervals of non-fighting but that does not translate into peace. The word, shalom, is often used to convey peace to another. It’s meaning is nothing missing, nothing broken. Yes, if that is true in your life then you can have peace. I desire for you to have peace even in the face of many things that would try to prevent it.
Peace With Yourself!
Did you grow up in peace? Many homes are not a place of safety, love and peace. This then sets the stage for it to be hard to find peace within yourself. You question your thoughts, feelings and actions and are not pleased with them. Therefore, you are not at peace with yourself. When you allow Me into your life, I can touch every area of your life and help you come to a place of peace. When you know that I have forgiven you, then you can forgive yourself and others. I know that no matter how hard you try not to sin that you are going to do things that you need to be forgiven for, and I will forgive you.
Peace With Others!
All humans are imperfect and will do and say things that will hurt and wound you. Since you are human, you will do the same and will need others forgiveness. If you don’t give forgiveness, you will not receive forgiveness. If you want peace in your life, you will need to seek it by letting go of offenses that you have taken. Are your expectations of yourself and others realistic? If not, you will have no peace. I am the one who can bring peace into your life when you choose Me; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to work in you to bring you to a place of peace with Me, yourself and others. Choose Me this day, and the peace that passes all understanding is what I desire to give to you. Not as the world gives but true peace.
