A House of Prayer

I want My churches to be houses of prayer and for My people to humble themselves and pray. Prayer is not just asking Me for your needs, but it is seeking My will from heaven and participating with Me to bring it to earth. Prayer is building an altar from which I hear you and will answer. Often, I will lay upon your hearts to pray at a given time, in a given place and in a given manner because it is critical to a given outcome. When I do this, obey quickly and allow My will to be done. You may not get a second chance to intervene in that situation. I am constantly speaking to My people about what to pray for so that the enemy does not get his way.

I am also calling My children to humble themselves. So many egos are at work causing separation from Me and each other. Unless one is willing to humble themselves, it is difficult for them to step into the gap and pray to help overcome the evil plans of the enemy. Too many of My churches are not houses of prayer and too many of My people want to leave the work of ministry to the pastors and prophets and rely on them to pray and warn of upcoming events. Yes, I use both of these to guide you but unless you add your prayers to theirs not much will happen. Before you can reap the rewards of your prayers, you must deposit much time and effort into them before you may see results.

Pray without ceasing. Prayer is not to be a few minutes set aside when you finally decide to do it. It should be a lifestyle. I am speaking to you all the time through many different menus. Tune into Me and take quiet time for Me to commune with you and share My heart so that you can bring heaven’s will to earth. Yes, you are in a time of darkness that is not going to be over soon and yes, you are going to face gross darkness. As you seek Me more and more, I am able to commission My angels to intervene in the earth. At times, it may seem as though your prayers are not being answered, but they are ever before My throne and in due season, will be answered according to My will and purposes. Pray without ceasing and humble yourselves.
