Are your spiritual eyes open? You can have physical sight and lack spiritual sight. Saul had physical sight but his spiritual sight was only working after his encounter with Jesus Christ on the road to Damascus. I want to open your eyes of understanding – your spiritual eyes. Yes, only I can do this. Do you have blind spots in your life about yourself, others, doctrine or even the things that I am capable of. I want to remove those blind spots, but often you would rather believe a lie than the truth that I am trying to show you. Often, I will send people into your life to show you your blind spots, but you refuse to hear what they are saying. You believe that you are persistent, but I say that you are being stubborn. I call you to give, but you say that you are being good stewards of your (My) money. What lies are you living under that you believe are truth? Do you believe the lie that spiritual gifts stop functioning after the times of My disciples? Do you believe that I no longer heal? Do you believe that the ten commandments are no longer relevant? What about that sex outside of marriage is acceptable? These are just a few of the lies that you may believe.
What things are you confessing out of your mouth that are affecting your life and health. Make sure that the words that you speak are positive and life-giving words. The year 5780 is the beginning of a new year on the Jewish calendar. A year about speaking and declaring. If you want to see changes in your life, start declaring what My Word says for there is power and life in My Words.
Ask Me to open your eyes of understanding before it is too late, and you end up with many regrets. I call you in My Word to seek eyes of understanding so that you will know your calling, the gifts that I have given you to fulfill it, and the power to walk in it. Enlightenment comes in stages. Do not be too quick to close the doors that I am trying to open in your life. No one is too old to be used by Me.
Be a prayer warrior if you cannot move around easily. Be an encourager by calling people and listening to them and speaking words of encouragement to them. Be a giver to those in need and change lives and circumstances. In the night hours, declare what I place on your heart to speak and watch and see how things change. My desire is for you to know truth and that truth will set you free, no more blind spots- eyes open with understanding.
